That plant boss just seems like a less cool version of the HotD III plant boss but maybe that's my nostalgia.

What I love about these old arcade games is they hold nothing back and when it comes to raw shock and awe.

Holy shit i remember this one! My parents would often buy me some shovel wear trash like this when i was a kid. Anything that we could get out of the Gamestop used games section. Sure it's not the best rail shooter you can play, but i have fond nostalgic memories of playing this with my Dad and Sister

What I gathered from the story is that if everyone had tried 10% harder, none of this would have happened. Still trying to figure out how the younger brother struggles so. he clearly doesn't lack upper body strength.

It was a very memorable experience. But not a very good game. It's one of those where you would get everything from a let's play. I got more teary-eyed watching this beautifully made video than when I played it myself lol. I specifically remember not caring about the more dramatic moments because I spent so much time being frustrated by the controls. Some reviewers overrated the hell out of it back in the day. Totalbiscuit in particular had it as his favourite game of all time. Curse of the reviewer. After a while, games become so repetitive that anything truly different is like water to a dehydrated person. You can get it for very cheap & not everyone is as weird with controls as me. So it is worth a try. But personally, I think it would have been better served as an animated short.

It’s sooooooooooooo confusing at first but I PROMISE stick with it. It’s one of my favorite games ever. I’ve beaten it twice my biggest pro tips: 1. Focus on movement and walking/running genes before ANYTHING else because the map is insanely gigantic. 2. Don’t be afraid to explore, but ALWAYS find the nearest hideout before you move further. 3. Don’t be afraid to evolve, in fact, when your first starting off, you wanna evolve in that first out as much as you receive new babies thus new genes.

12:40 I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this in the comments, but I've discovered that you can actually stun Hambone by targeting his minigun arm. Surprisingly, not many people, including myself, realized this for a long time! I think this was intentional because most people wouldn't instinctively think to shoot a gun to kill/stun an enemy. It wouldn't have been my first guess either, but it feels incredibly satisfying to figure this out after wasting so many quarters. However, the skull bombs he shoots at you in the second phase are a completely different story.

^^; The "Christmas song" reminds me of those "Christmas concerts" at an elementary school, but at least the kids played their instruments WAY better than the music played here! Trust me, I used to play the recorder with my classmates one time and I've heard kids playing recorders in videos on RUclips, they sound REALLY bad when a kid tries to play them!

As terrible as the game is, even though I never played it, the concept idea sounded like a good one. If a gaming studio ever decided to use an idea like this for their own game, I hope that they actually put some love, hard work and imagination into a game like this, but WAY better! I mean, CarnEvil hasn't had any remasters, reboots or even sequels after the game's release, but it's still one of THE best shooting games that fans have ever played, even if the gameplay's short or hard to find now! I think the ONLY good thing about this game are how good the graphics and animation are. Not great or amazing, since the 3D graphics wasn't as crisp and beautiful as the ones in games today, but it looked great for a game in the 2010's Gaming Era. And they actually made the game 3D. HOWEVER, I think that if they made the 3D glasses more like the 4D glasses in some amusement parks (Since the Red and Blue colored "Glass" is kinda annoying.), I think this would be more acceptable. I'm not saying the retro 3D glasses are bad, I'm just saying that 3D technology has advanced since the 3D movie era in the past. Also, the red and blue colors are blocking the rest of the colors from being seen and could've caused some annoyances if you wanted to see the game in all of the 3D glory, WITHOUT the reds and blues taking over your view. That's fine and all if anyone lese doesn't have a problem with it, but as someone who played Sly 3 and ACTUALLY used the included 3D glasses, I found it highly annoying and problematic. Yes, it made the game enjoyable to play via 3D, but again the colors of the glasses were the major problem. Two things I liked about Sly 3 is 1: You have an option to play a 3D level WITHOUT using the 3D imagery at all, and 2: In the HD version, they made it so you can play the game on a 3D tv, meaning you can use the tv's 3D glasses when playing the game. Which, by the way, is NOT the glasses with the red and blue colors in it, but rather ones that look almost like sunglasses, but isn't. Again, if a gaming company ever decides to use this idea to create their own 3D shooting game, I think taking a cue from the Sly 3 game would be ideal, the option to not play in 3D and to be played on a 3D tv if you have one. But other than that, I can appreciate the good graphics and animation that the Wii console gave us.

I remember on May, it was my little sister’s birthday. We went to our local Round 1, and we played a lot of games. We played Bust-A-Move Frenzy (I love the Bubble Bobble and Puzzle Bobble series), Break the Plates, and most importantly, Let’s Go Island. When I saw it, I was playing around and pressed the start button, and apparently it had 3 credits in. So we played it together, and we did a great job. I saw videos of arcade games, including Let’s Go Island, So I had an advantage. My little sister got a Game Over at the first boss (octopus), and I made it. Barely. I died at the start of level 2 (the one that has the scooter icon), because I was so low. Great times…

This arcade game was really good. Though I hate the parts where you need to turn the wheel constantly to fill up the gauge or steer because no matter how fast I try turning the wheel I could never get the gauge filled up or make turns on time.

Ive been trying to track down the original jp arcade from my childhood for many years now. Ive contacted various arcade chains and facebook groups but nothing. Id give anything to be able to play it again it was a huge part of my childhood. Long shot, but does anyone know where it is still in operation? Im talking about the one with moving seat and joystick. It used to be here in northern Ireland in Newcastle.

I absolutely love this game... I got this game during a time where my appreciation for water levels in video games was growing. I had been checking some stuff about some old swimming games like Diver's Dream, and some new indie underwater horror games, before I finally bought this one. It was such a delightful journey, no pun intended.

So I actually have memories of playing the jurassic park 3 game on vacations. I beat it on one sitting in the arcade. It is one of my favorite arcade games because of those memories and I loved the spinosaurus.
